洪秀柱表示，蔡英文是否反對教科書納入中華民國憲法架構，如果蔡英文支持兩岸維持現狀，就應該支持課綱微調。洪秀柱說：『(原音)微調就是希望尊重中華民國憲法架構，可是她的意思是不是整個教科書要完全去除中華民國歷史、去除中華文化，宣讀台獨理念嗎？真正宣讀台獨理念嗎？如果是的話也沒有關係，希望大聲說出來，不可以說維持現狀，另一方面又鼓動學生，要學生做這樣的動作，這是不好的。』
